Rosenberg admitted to filing false insurance claims with eight major insurance companies for crowns and fillings which he never supplied to patients. He was caught by the same part of the FBI which leads the Medicare Fraud Strike Force, a joint operation between the Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The expansive Medicare Fraud Strike Force has indicted almost 4,000 defendants since 2007 for fraudulent Medicare charges amounting to over $14 billion.
